SOFO (SOuth FOrest) is a diverse group of shops and business owners along the Forest Drive corridor that believes in creating unity, community involvement and support for our community, devoted to promoting equality, kindness, and inclusivity among all of our community members. We are a non-profit group consisting of small businesses, retail shops and restaurants.
SOFO was created with the vision of giving the businesses along Forest Drive a unified voice to collaborate in the efforts of advocacy, branding, networking and building the strongest commercial climate to encourage economic success for this unique section of the Annapolis business community.
We advocate for the businesses along the corridor by working with city leaders and local organizations, helping ensure our community is represented, supported, and positioned for continued growth.
SOFO creates opportunities for businesses to come together, share ideas, and support one another. Through networking, partnerships, and shared initiatives, we help strengthen the foundation of the local business community.
Our efforts extend beyond business. From hosting local events and fundraisers to supporting schools and community projects, we are committed to creating a positive and lasting impact throughout Annapolis.
