Member Feature: Lucky and Blessed Fishing
We’re proud to celebrate SOFO member Lucky and Blessed Fishing, recently featured in the August 2026 issue of What’s Up? Annapolis.
The article highlights the nonprofit’s work to make fishing and outdoor recreation accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Founded by Scott Steers, Lucky and Blessed Fishing creates welcoming experiences that foster confidence, friendship, wellness, and a sense of belonging. The feature also shares the inspiring story of Michael Hoffman, who grew from program participant to volunteer and ultimately became the organization’s first staff angler.
